Beryl is one of the most important gemstones and is sometimes called the ¿mother of Gemstones¿ In its pure form, beryl is colorless and is called Goshenite - it is the many different impurities that give beryl its varied coloration.
Yellow beryl is called heliodor. Its better known colour is blue ¿ Aquamarine and of course the most famous (and expensive) of all beryl is green ¿ Emerald!
Pink Beryl (Morganite) is much more rare than either Aquamarine or Heliodor and is highly sought after. The law of supply and demand ensures that Morganite always commands high prices on the market.
¿The gem is High -End and TOP quality throughout. It has a top pink colour ( most morganite is a much paler pink) and is Flawless throughout. Looking through a 10 x Jewelers loupe there is no damage, abrasion, chips, scratches etc visible at all - just crystal clear pulsating pink! As is the case with most gems, the price/value goes up exponentially per carat and a 2.07 carat Morganite of this quality is rare and a definite investment
