Nearly 2 Cts of stunning collectors Blue to Green Tourmaline.

I have struggled to source tourmaline that grades naturally from blue to green in one gem as above. This tourmaline comes from Mozambique, the only other recognised source of Paraiba tourmaline after Brazil. Paraiba Tourmaline has been called the second most valuable gem on earth ( Bixbite - Red Emerald is the most valuable). Paraiba way out prices Tanzanites, Rubies and Sapphires.

Under 10 x magnification it is beautifully cut/polished and the colour and luster is AAA+++. I have appraised this gem for On-Line shops at R11,700 (More retail!) You can check this out at an on - line gem evalation site called gemval.com
