Emerald is one of the most highly prized of all gems and good quality gems are difficult to source. A flawless, clear emerald is very rare and usually found only in very small sizes.
Nearly all pictures of emerald do not do justice to the gem (as is the case here - the actual gem is much better!). If you have never bought emerald on line from pictures, you will be VERY pleased with this gem - Guarenteed.

Almost no emeralds with good color are inclusion free. This does not reduce the value of the emerald as long as they do not take away from the durability or beauty of the stone. In fact, unlike many gems where inclusions reduce gem value, inclusions in Emerald (and Ruby) are seen as "fingerprints" that proove authenticity & enhance their unique beauty and value.
