A Dazzling P colour, SI2 Brilliant Cut Diamond Solitaire. It is a natural (ie real and not lab created) diamond.
The diamond has been well cut and polished. There no visible damage to any of the facets under a 10 x loupe. It is classified as P in colour and SI2 in clarity (100% Eye clean).
It comes with a certificate of authenticity from an independant GIA certified manufacturing jeweler with over 40 years experience in the trade. The certificate is NOT an appraisal - i.e no retail/insurance value is stated - only that it is a natural diamond with the details as given. The certificate is laminated and has the gemmologist's contact details if you are the winner and have any questions. I can organise a full valuation certificate for R200.

The wholesale value is around $2,000 (i.e the price at which a Retail Jeweler would by the gem) . I have included a certificate from an on-line evaluater - please note that this is based on a diamond with an M colour rating. The diamond on auction is certified as P. The colour scale at the bottom of the certificate gives an accurate indication of the colour of this diamond (very light yellow). Please also note that the certificate above is NOT the certificate you will receive. The certificate you will receive comes from a Cape Town based manufacturing Jeweler. The valuation certificate will show the replacement value in the region of R30,000 +. (Rap value is R18,000)
