I bought these two pears individually but they are so well matched I have put them together as a pair! Although these magnified images makes the one emerald look a slighly more intense green than the other, in real size and to the naked eye, the colour differance is not noticable at all. 

Nearly all pictures of emerald do not do justice to the gem (as is the case here). The actual gems are FAR more beautiful than the pictures capture. If you have never bought emerald on line from pictures, you will be VERY pleased with these gems - Guarenteed.

The gems are classed as SI but are very close to eye clean. These pictures are highly magnified and you will not see the small flaws with the naked eye - they strike the eye as  lovely bright emerald green throughout with no banding or colour variation.  The cut/finish is excellent with no visible flaws such as chips or abrasion to the facet edges/faces even under 10 x magnification. The result is good clean looking emeralds with a high luster.

 Emerald is one of the most highly prized of all gems and good quality gems are difficult to source. A flawless, clear emerald is very rare and usually found only in very small sizes. Almost no emeralds with good color are inclusion free. This does not reduce the value of the emerald as long as they do not take away from the durability or beauty of the stone. In fact, unlike many gems where inclusions reduce gem value, inclusions in Emerald (and Ruby) are seen as "fingerprints" that proove authenticity & enhance their unique beauty and value.
