Just Jewels is proud to auction this Diamantine Dazzling Padparadscha Zircon. Padparadscha is a pinkish-orange color that is reminiscent of a lotus blossom and highly valued for its attractiveness. The key with a good padparadscha coloured gem is getting the right color or hue, coupled with the right tone. The hue should be a uniform blend of pink and orange, so that you cannot see where one color ends and the other begins.
This gem comes highly recommended by Just Jewels - something I only do once or so a month. This is because this gem will immediately stand out as an EXCEPTIONAL gem amongst many other beautiful gems. It happens when the gem cutter gets everything "Just Right". This is a collectors gem and like all quality gems will increase well in value. As a piece of Jewelry it will be much loved and worn - bound to make the wearer Center Stage!

Zircon is the gem most like diamond in its ability to refract and reflect light - so imagine this gem as a 1.66 Carat Padparadscha coloured Diamond!!!! This is exactly what you will get - simply sizzling!!!!
It is a challenge for a gem cutter to cut good Zircon. Good clean gem grade zircon is difficult to source and if the cutter is not careful, Zircon cracks when it is being cut.
This is Natural Zircon (not synthetic cubic zirconium) Looking through a 10 X jewelers loop the gem is classed as VVS1 and the facets are excellent with no chips or abrading. The gem is a well saturated Padparadscha throughout - MUCH MUCH better than the pictures.
