 The gem is Royal Purple in daylight and Magenta (just hinted at in the pictures) under incandescent light (most indoor lighting) . 

This gem is classed as Flawless to VVS1. Under a 10 x jewelers loupe there is no damage (such as abrasion or chips) to any of the facet faces or edges. It is polished & finished to master standards and has exceptional fire. The result is a High luster, Hi end quality gem.
