This is a SUPERB Paraiba Blue Apetite.

The gem is intense paraiba Blue throughout - the dark areas in the photo's are just shadows. It is master cut and polished. A good deep pavillion ensures more facets and depth to reflect inner light. The colour is AAA and the luster +++ (Can't get better).

The result is a mouthwatering, (apetizing??) dazzling brilliant blue jewel. The gem is classed as VVS1. With a 10 x loupe you will see a VS chip on the girdle. You cannot see it with the naked eye or in these pictures but I am telling collectors and others who will examine the gem with a loupe it is there so that there are no suprises.

Set in Jewelry, this gem simply cannot go un noticed. With a hardness of 5 , it should not be set in a daily worn piece such as a ring. As a pendant, necklace etc or in a protected ring setting however, it will be an exceptionally beautiful piece of jewelry.

My AGI qualified supplier puts this gem at $550 retail. (This is merely an indicative price!)
