There is no colour banding and it has been beautifully cut and polished. The colour is slightly less intense/deep blue than the pictures have captured but it is an excellent Royal Blue - more like the mid tones above. It will glitter with excellent Blue Fire in daylight as well as evening indoor lighting. I have examined the gem with a 10 x loupe and it is flawless without any visible damage to the facet faces or edges.

The WEB value is R1,800 - you would pay more at a retail jeweler who must pass on high expenses such as shop rental, staff salaries etc to you. Why pay thousands for this excellent quality sapphire when you can win it on Just Jewels for much less?
