Under a 10 x Jewelers loupe the gem is flawless throughout with no damage to any of the facet edges or surfaces. The cut and polish is professionally perfect and the gem exudes class. All this adds up to make a TOP quality gem that will appreciate in value. Above this, there are indications from a number of sources that the rough supplies of Imperial Topaz are near exhaustion. If this is the case, the prices of Imperial Topaz will rocket.

The gem is a good size and my international supplier (a qualified AIG gemologist) reccomends the retail at R2,900.
