NB. This is a fabulous 100% natural Prasiolite (usually called Green Amethyst on the gem market) (not lab created/hydrothermal) .    

 The gem is an absolutely gorgeous and lustrous Mint Green colour.  Much much better than the picture!

This gem is classed as VVS2 (Eye Clean).  The cut is excellent and there is no damage such as chips, abrasion marks etc even inder 10 x magnification.  

   The Concave Cut consists of three dimensional conical shaped facets cut on the pavilion of the gem that creates depth as well as length and breadth. Instead of the facets being joined by an angle, they are joined with a groove. This third dimension allows the gem to refract more light and maximizes its brilliance. The Concave Cut also distributes light more evenly, giving the gem a stunning interior glow. Some gems increase up to 100% in brilliance when Concave Cut
