Morganite is pink beryl and good quality morganite is difficult to source. It outprices Goshenite, Aquamarine and Heliodor (Clear, Blue and Yellow Beryl) on the market. More expensive varieties are Emerald and Bixbite (The latter is sometimes called Red Emerald and is the rarest and most expensive gem on earth!)
The colour of this morganite is a pure sensuous soft pink throughout (like the picture on the left). Black/grey in the pictures are just shadows captured by the camera. Morganite is one of those gems that do not photograph well and the actual gem is much better than the picture - it is a classy gem with high luxurious luster.
This morganite has been master cut and polished and under magnification there is no damage such as chips or abrasion to any of the facets/edges - just high quality, eye and heart pleasing luscious, lusterous pink! The gems are classed as Flawless to VVS1 and a matching pair of Morganite of this size and quality (in terms of colour and clarity) is exceptional.
