Rubellite is a popular and pricey variety of Tourmalline that is named after its ruby -like looks.

It is not all that common and it is difficult to find clean gems - many of them being included and flawed. This Matching set is AAA Hot Pink (can't get better pink) and is classed as SI. The gems have been well cut and polished and they sparkle with Excellent Fire. There is no visible damage to the facet edges or faces under a 10 x loupe.
