Padparadscha is a pinkish-orange color sapphire that is reminiscent of a lotus blossom. Rare in nature, this gem is valued for its attractive color.
The key with a good padparadscha sapphire is getting the right color or hue, coupled with the right tone. The hue should be a uniform blend of pink and orange, so that you cannot see where one color ends and the other begins.
More importantly, the tone of the stone should be light to medium, and is described as DELICATE.
Under 10 x magnification this Sapphire is well cut and polished. It is Flawless and has exquisite Pink/Orange Sapphire Fire. The actual gem is MUCH better ( More firey and towards the orange side of the Padpradscha colour range) than the picture.
