Estimates are that in excess of 95% of all sapphires on the market are heated to improve colour. That immediately makes these Blue sapphires rare, collectable and investment quality. Many unheated sapphires have this gorgeous Blue fire with tinges of Aqua blue/green.
The gems are classed as VVS2 (Eye Clean) and the cut and polish is Excellent. Under 10 x magnification there is no damage such as abrasion/chips etc to any of the facet faces or edges.
