Zircon is the gem most like diamond in its ability to refract and reflect light - so imagine this gem as a 4.94 Carat Red Hot Diamond!!!!
It is a challenge for a gem cutter to cut good Zircon. Good clean gem grade zircon is difficult to source and if the cutter is not careful, Zircon cracks when it is being cut.
This is Natural Zircon (not synthetic cubic zirconium) Looking through a 10 X jewelers loop the gem has been master cut and polished. It is classed as VVS1(100% eye clean). The gem is Excellent QUALITY and a well saturated magnificent HOT red colour throughout - MUCH better than the pictures.
Like all quality gems, this magnificent Zircon will increase well in value. As a piece of Jewelry it will be much loved and worn.
