Quality Chrome Diopside such as these comes from the frozen wastelands of Russia's eastern tundras. It is a high chrome content that creates its breathtaking color. Chrome Diopside is becoming less common and is now very collectable.
It arguably possesses the best green color in the gemstone kingdom. With intenser greens than tsavorites, cleaner than emeralds, Chrome Diopside's excellent value and breathtaking looks can make other green gemstones look dull.
These gems are VS1 and are well cut and polished. They are a brilliant chrome green throughout - like the highlight green in the pictures throughout. The dark areas are just shadows captured by the camera.
