Beautiful Natural Silver White Beryl Oval. If it were a diamond it would be classed as colour D - with pale pink (Morganite) overtone. (The blue in the pictures are just reflections of my study curtains)

The top 2 pictures are in natural shaded sunlight and the bottom 2 pictures under study desk light.

Beryl is one of the most important gemstones and is sometimes called the “mother of Gemstones” In its pure form, beryl is colorless and is called Goshenite - it is the many different impurities that give beryl its varied coloration.

Pink beryl is more rare and called Morganite. Perhaps the best known variety of beryl is Emerald. Beryl boasts what is commonly recognised as the rarest and most expensive gemstone on earth - Bixbite, sometimes called red emerald.

Aquamarine is another of the better known colour varieties of Beryl. It is very popular in Jewelry making because it polishes to a high luster and is very hard wearing (7.5-8).

This is a large Beryl and it is master cut and polished with exquisite luster. It is classed as VVS1 (100% eye clean) and has a luxurious and luscious silver white/ pale pink luster.
