Beautiful Pink Beryl (Morganite) - Good size, High Class gem!.

Beryl is one of the most important gemstones and is sometimes called the “mother of Gemstones” In its pure form, beryl is colorless and is called Goshenite - it is the many different impurities that give beryl its varied coloration.

Pink beryl is more rare and called Morganite. Perhaps the best known variety of beryl is Emerald. Beryl boasts what is commonly recognised as the rarest and most expensive gemstone on earth - Bixbite, sometimes called red emerald.

Aquamarine is another of the better known colour varieties of Beryl. It is very popular in Jewelry making because it polishes to a high luster and is very hard wearing (7.5-8).

This Morganite is Master Antique cut and polished. It is classed as VS1 and has fabulous, luxurious and luscious pink luster.
