A Dazzling Canary Yellow VS1 Fancy Cut Diamond. It is a natural (ie real and not lab created) diamond. All pictures are the diamond on auction and the diamond you will receive.
The actual diamond colour and fire is much better than the pictures have captured and all black in these pictures are just shadows captured by the camera. The top right and bottom left pictures are examples of a the diamond set in a ring.
Under a 10 x loupe there is no damage to any of the facets. It is classified as: Colour - Canary Yellow , Cut - Very Good, and Clarity VS1(very good clean). The colour is due to the gem being irradiated. This turns the diamond yellow throughout (i.e it is not just a surface change) and is permanent and irreversable.
This diamond comes with a certificate from an independant gemologist/manufacturing Jeweler with over 40 years experience in the trade. I can organise a full valuation certificate for R200. The market price would be in the region of $1,650 plus VAT.
