¿You are looking at a TOP quality VVS Tanzanite
The colour is a little less intense than the picture (but not much) and it is a stunning AAA purple blue. The gem is cut and polished to professional perfection. Looking at the gem under a 10x jewlers loupe, I can not see any chips, scratches or other nasty suprises that the pictures do not show. This is a quality, high luster gem through and through.
You would pay thousands for this gem at a retail Jeweler (My international suppplier, an AIG qualified gemologist) places the recommended retail at $500 (about R3,750). You may well win this gem for R hundreds here. No retail jeweler can compare because they must pass on their high overheads such as shop rental, staffing costs etc etc to you! I have appraised the gem at R1,900 for on-line/web based shops.
