This is top quality, pear cut Royal Blue Sapphire. They will make a high class ear ring/pendant/necklace set. The turquise blue colour in the pictures is just reflections from my study curtains. The sapphires are a beautiful Royal blue throughout.
For those not used to buying sapphires on line, here are a few pointers.
Avoid Deep Blue Sapphires - usually they are so dark that you need intense light to see any trace of blue in the gem. Unless you want an all but opaque gem, don't waste your money!
Look out for colour banding in heated sapphire. Look carefully at the pictures. However, pictures can be taken that do not show this banding. If in doubt - ask the seller a question.
These gems are a Glittering Medium Blue day or night! The actual gems are better than the pictures.
Under 10 x magnification the gems are well cut and polished with and no damage to any of the facets.
