About the Artist:

 I live and work from my studio in Pretoria.  I always wondered why people say that you need to escape the city to appreciate nature, as nature (in all its facets) is everywhere (even in a city where it receives very little appreciation).  We could look at a tree and some would see only a dark silhouette against the sky, while others might see the colour of the bark, or a red bug crawling down the branch, or even  even the small misformed leave next to its bigger brothers clinging desperately to a branch.  
 
I love looking at everything through my artist-eyes, taking what I see and trying with acrylic, oils and even other craft material to share it with the world.  
 
I hope that my colourful vibrant paintings will bring other people as much joy as I experience while painting them!
