The K&F Concept Magnetic Filter Kit Systems have become extremely popular due to their ease of use and speed. This Magnetic lens cap is a great replacement cap or addition if your kit did not originally include a lens cap in the package configuration.
The magnetic filter System makes use of powerful magnets to hold your filter or lens cap in place. The advantage of this is both speed and ease of use. If you have the magnetic filters, you will no doubt have learnt to love them. Now you can have the same convenience for the lens cap too. A magnetic adaptor ring, not included in this product, allows for the use of the magnetic compatible products from K&F Concept.
Unlike most lens caps, this is an aviation-grade aluminium alloy lens cap. It offers superior lens and filter protection as it will offer more protection than plastic can. This is a very thin and therefore sleek cap with a low profile. The cap is finished in a matte black anodised finish with the orange K&F logo in the centre. Quite a good looking piece of kit. But it has another trick up its sleeve. While it is designed for magnetic attachment it does still have thread on the back side. So it is still possible to use it on your lens if the magnetic adaptor ring is not in place. While this means the loss of the best benefits offered by the magnetic system, it does mean you can still protect your lens or filter even if the adaptor ring is not installed.
