One of K&F Concept's newer designs in our backpack line-up is this spacious and versatile camera bag, designed with the outdoors and demanding photographer in mind. The trail-shooter is ideal as your all-day trusted companion, putting the safety of your gear first. This feature-rich backpack focuses on providing comfort, versatility, enhanced protection and practicality for everyday situations.

The sizable main compartment gives you access to all your major gear in a single customizable space. This compartment zips opens against your back, just behind the main shoulder straps. The benefits of this are firstly, a powerful anti-theft system when moving in the big city, as the bag cannot be pickpocketed, as well as extra safety for your equipment when you're trekking through the great outdoors. Secondly, the rear access means that if you put the backpack down, you would lie it on the front face when accessing your gear, meaning the back of the pack is kept clean and in turn your clothes. Pretty important if on a corporate or wedding shoot.

The main compartment's customization comes from the well-designed velcro-adjustable and removable dividers. The adjustable dividers allow you to adapt your backpack to the needs of your gear and specific shooting conditions on any given day. Depending on your configuration, the main compartment can carry 2 DSLR bodies, up to 6 lenses, still with space for the required batteries, chargers, and other accessories such as a flash that one would typically need on a shoot (quantities all dependent on lens sizes etc.)

For those who wish to edit and/or publish on the go, this bag has two dedicated storage pouches with safety straps, one for a 14" laptop and the other for a large tablet. Within the main compartment, is one of the pouches that can carry a laptop or tablet, however the laptop pouch is separated from the main gear by a zipped mesh divider. This keeps it away from the rest of your equipment protecting all items from scratching. The bags front compartment also has a dedicated padded slot for a 14" tablet / laptop. The other pockets in the front compartment can house essentials such as a smartphone, pen slot and other smaller accessories. There is also a side access single zip pouch on the very front of the bag, allowing quick access to items such as a wallet, notebook, documents etc.

Gear protection is of paramount importance in our bag construction process, so K&F have designed this bag with 12mm high-density foam-padded dividers with a shock-resistant, anti-static bag shell. The design as well as the rigidity of the bag's shell offers an extra level of protection against accidental drops or bumps. Knowing your gear is well protected allows you to move freely and with confidence whilst on the hunt for those epic action shots. The Trail-Shooter can also be used as a day-to-day backpack. The padded inner dividers are completely removable, and then the bag can be used to pack clothes or other goods as needed.

With security always on our minds, this backpack has double-layer with an inner zipped mesh cover when accessing the main compartment. This assists in preventing equipment from possibly falling out even if the main compartment is not completely zipped up. This peace of mind also allows you to move through congested urban areas knowing your gear is safe. The inner mesh cover allows you to view your equipment prior to selection which ensures that no equipment tumbles out when making your selection, especially if holding your bag in an awkward position. The mesh cover may be folded back if not required.

Rigid skid strips on the underside of the bag lets you stand the bag upright without scuffing and damaging your bag and then with your bag standing upright you can unzip the mesh as far as you need to access only the gear you need, preventing other gear falling out. For maximum security the custom embossed K&F Logo' d zips can be locked with combination locks effectively combating pickpocketing, ideal for photographers in transit.

A useful feature for those who enjoy music while on the hiking trail is the specially designed earphone jack feeder that allows a headset cable through, so that you can listen to music while your cellphone/ music player is safely stored in the internal cellphone pouch.

The Trail-Shooter camera bag's exterior is made from rugged 900D waterproof nylon with an IPX4 waterproof resistance rating, perfect for those extreme conditions. Though the bag offers protection from the elements, it also comes with a K&F branded rain cover that fits snugly around the bag to keep your bag and its contents extra dry in those heavy downpours. The rain cover packs neatly into its own dedicated clip-on bag when not in use. The interior of the backpack is lined with 230 twill polyurethane coated nylon fabric, which is water-repelling for an extra level of moisture protection.

The back panel of the bag is firm yet well-padded with ice mesh breathable fabric to allow optimal ventilation, ensuring cool and friction-free movement in challenging conditions, ensuring super comfort as well as extra protection for the laptop and other gear. The comfy, properly padded adjustable shoulder straps are extra wide at 75mm to ensure that the load is spread evenly over a larger area to reduce strain when carrying.
