OVERVIEW

The large 35mm ball head has a smooth drag action when adjusting the friction knob to the desired level. The telescopic tripod legs are crafted from Carbon Fibre, which are light, strong and look the part in this thick 32mm leg tube diameter. A very handy Monopod is an available option by simply unscrewing one of the legs. All knobs and locking screws are made from high-quality aluminium, with a precision feel and action to them, instilling a confidence when working with really expensive professional gear. At only 2.15 kilograms, it is light yet extremely sturdy, ideal for studio work, wildlife and corporate photography or any demanding shoot where your reputation can not be let down.

BALL HEAD
This tripod comes with a large 35mm solid ball head, machined from aluminium alloy and anodized in a classy charcoal colour. A standout feature and a huge advantage of this particular head is that it has an adjustable ball head friction knob. This allows you to adjust the heads friction by increasing or decreasing the drag friction on the ball. Depending on the size of camera and lens used, the drag setting can be adjusted accordingly so the mounted camera will hold firmly on the head without falling to the side. This is ideal and speeds up you shooting as you can adjust, frame up, and re-adjust without having to continually lock and unlock the ball head. The head still has a locking lever so once you done you can then securely lock off the head. This ball head can support up to a 20kg load, without compromising stability, which is more than most camera setups weigh. The head has a smooth fluid pan action that adjusts a full 360-degree for those beautiful panoramic shots. The handy degree markings on the head, allow you to accurately pan, perfect for landscape photography. The head has a very convenient, built-in spirit level that is ideal for quickly setting your camera perfectly horizontal when required.

EXTRA CAMERA PLATE INCLUDED
As an added bonus, all official K&F Photography Tripods come with an extra quick release base plate, yes 2x Camera Plates with 2x " screws are included in the package. This is really handy if shooting with multiple camera bodies or maybe wanting to mount it to a light if you are using your tripod as a light stand occasionally. Yet most importantly by simply having a spare camera plate in your K&F camera bag, might just save your day. The camera plate can slide forwards or backwards on the ball head to assist with better camera balance. However, the plate is also designed so that it cannot slide completely out protecting your camera from falling. A 3/8" to " adapter is also included for the few accessories that use the larger thread size.

LEGS
The heavy-duty beautifully crafted Carbon Fibre legs are a key feature in this classy package.

The 4-stage legs are extendable via the sturdy twist-locking system, allowing for a quick and secure height adjustment. The clever system does not allow the leg to turn when tightening, so with a quarter turn the legs are locked or unlocked. The spiral locking knobs are lined with a quality soft-touch grippy rubber. A quick tip when using the twist-lock system, is to grab all the twist-locks in one grip and with a small twist all the legs are loosened at the same time. With the aluminium push clips at the top of the legs, the legs can open out to 4 different stages to give a well-supported and stable shooting platform. The legs have the ability to open wide allowing you to get the camera closer to the ground. This function comes in handy when shooting landscapes with a low foreground or reflections in a pond. Carbon fibre is a very lightweight material, yet it is extremely strong and durable. With the main top leg diameter is a sturdy 32mm and the thinnest bottom leg tube a very respectable 22mm, the tripod can support up to 20kg without compromising stability. Carbon fibre also has good vibration dampening properties, it's temperature tolerant, and does not corrode. The tripod is supplied with round grippy rubber feet for harder smooth surfaces and can then simply be screwed off to reveal spikes to grip better particularly when in the bush or on softer sandy surface or grass. At the top collar of the tripod where the legs come together, there are two 3/8" internal screw threads, ideal for connecting multiple accessories, such as a magic arm or an extra light bracket, all within a functional range. The tripod can fold down to a compact folded length of only 62cm.

CENTRE COLUMN
The tripod is equipped with a large diameter 28mm carbon fibre sliding centre column, for extra rigidity and stability. By extending the centre column you will reach the perfect height for comfortable eye-line photography. The column can also be removed completely, which adds another dimension of versatility as the ball head can then be mounted directly to the chassis for maximum stability. Another great feature for macro photography enthusiasts, is that the column can also be removed and by inverting it, you can then mount your camera below the tripod chassis for macro or other close-to-ground shots. This provides a stable and secure shooting platform, millimetres off the ground. The bottom of the centre column is equipped with a uniquely shaped custom hook. By turning this hook a quarter turn, the centre column is now released and can slide out.
