Contains 20 pages at rear with 600 portraits of Boer War children detained in concentration camps, photographed here in old age.

Contains short reminiscences of camp life during the Anglo-Boer War as seen through the eyes the children as well as photographs of daily life in the camps. Contains a roll of honour of camp children who were still alive at the time of publication (1982) as well as those who were never caught and taken to camps.

An uncommon title in fine unread condition.
