Karin Synmove Aurora Jaroszynska née Heikkinen was born 1934 in Helsinki, Finland; studied at Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki 1951/1956, where she met fellow student Tadeusz Jaroszynski whom she married in 1954. They moved to South Africa in 1957, first farming for two years in the district of Pietersburg, then moving to Parktown North, Johannesburg. Later they moved to Sweden, finally settling in France. Their children are Karolina, Jan and Dino.
