Description

The WaterInca KDF filter cartridge  is unparalleled in chlorine removal and heavy metal reduction. When used in our RO Water Filtration Systems, the KDF filter strips the chlorine from the water before the water contacts the carbon filter, allowing the carbon filter to perform higher levels of carbon filtration such as removal of chemical contaminants including Volatile Organic Chemical (VOCs) and Trihalomethanes (THMs).

KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) media is a high-purity copper-zinc formulation that uses redox (oxidation/reduction) to remove chlorine, lead, mercury, iron, and hydrogen sulphides from water. It is also listed as a microbial device by the US Environmental Protection Agency for its outstanding bacteria control. KDF is a patented filtration media, and is a NSF, WQA and ISO9001 certified material.

Using a KDF filter in conjunction with the WaterInca RO Water Filtration System extends the life of the system, allowing for a longer service run before filter replacement is required.
