This is a Kensington-style combination laptop lock, designed to secure a notebook or other electronic device from theft. 

It features a durable cable that can be looped around a fixed object, such as a table leg. The lock itself uses a four-digit resettable combination, eliminating the need for keys, and is made to fit the standard security slot found on most laptops. It is compact and easy to carry.
