A solid, heavy-duty linear power supply from Kenwood's classic ham radio era. Tested and working. Unloaded output measures a healthy 15.4V, confirming the transformer and capacitors are in good shape it regulates down to 13.8V under load as designed.
Rated at 20A intermittent / 15A continuous at 13.8V DC, with an auxiliary 5A output for accessories. Features automatic overload reset and large heatsinks. Has a rear-panel 220/240V selector switch ready for SA mains.
Originally designed to pair with the Kenwood TS-120S, TS-130S and TS-180S transceivers, but works perfectly as a general-purpose 13.8V bench supply for any 12V equipment ham radio, CB, automotive accessories, or hobby electronics.
