The pivot is deep set, below the carbon fibre insert, ensuring that the knife does not accidentally deploy, while the integrated fingerguards on both top and bottom of the handle keep fingers away from danger. Nevertheless, automatic knives can be dangerous and should be handled with extreme caution in all circumstances.
