The Nazar or Evil eye dates back over 5000 years, It is found in all major regions through countless cultures. It is believed that the eye protects its owner from evil spirits and the ill will of others. It can be worn as jewelry, or placed in your home, office or car. Its mystical quality has worked its way right up to this day.

Some believe the evil eye is a curse or legend believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when they are not aware of it, often because of jelousy. Many believe carring an evil eye will ward off  the unwanted focus by these jelous people or visitors.

The evil eye is also known as mati () in the Greek culture. It is also often very popular in the Spanish culture know as  'Mal de Ojo'
