A character whom only Africa could produce, Major W Robert Foran was the ultimate adventurer.
Kill or be Killed is a charming collection of anecdotes and adventures concerning the African bush,
hunting big-game, tribal life, and the many zany characters of early Kenya.
This book was originally published in 1933 during the Depression, not many copies were sold due to
peoples hardships - these extremely rare originals are both very expensive and sit at the top of
Bibliophiles Africana wish-list.
This copy however, as part of the Peter Capstick Library reprint editions (1968), is copied from the original,
and is presented in a V-good condition. Tightly bound, both book and cover have been well cared for.
Obvious shelf wear, dusting to the top & side end-pages and minuscule foxing perhaps (kindly refer to the
photographs).
Hardcover format of this book appear to be only available on Amazon or AbeBooks.
