In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Africa drew to it a large number of great hunters, explorers, adventurers, and rogues. None was more the stuff of legends than John Boyes (1874 - 1951). Originally published in 1911, King of the Wa-Kikuyu is Boyes's own amazing account of his adventures with the Kikuyu tribe in what was then British East Africa (Kenya).
Copy in very good condition, with binding square and tight. Front dust jacket slightly scuffed and chipped, as shown.
