The condition of DVD's may vary. Older titles and ex-rentals tend to have scratches. Minor scratches on DVDs often do not affect playback due to the disc's design, which places the data layer deep within the protective plastic substrate and employs sophisticated error correction coding to recover any minor data interruptions. On the flip side, some of these ex-rental titles are hard to find on physical media. Good enough to watch the film, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying for your permanent collection.
Please note the Region encoding of the disc. If not Region 2 or B, then the disc may not play, unless you have a Region free DVD / Blu-ray player.
