Kitchen/Mancave decor - 1979 wooden menu of very first Spur in South Africa - Spur burger R1.25

The first Spur restaurant, The Golden Spur opened in Newlands, Cape Town in 1967 - sadly the original one closed its doors in 2020 (although there is a new Golden Spur in the Riverside Mall, Rondebosch).   This is an early menu of 1979 - at that stage there were only 16 Spur branches in South Africa.  Now there are over 600 globally.  Interesting to compare prices - a Spur burger was only R1.25, grilled prawns R5.95 and a jumbo milkshake 40c.  Those were the days!! Wooden menu in good condition - 38.5cm x 25cm.    Interesting decor and talking point for kitchen/mancave/bar!    Refer images
