Wooden Kitchen / Storage unit designed to fit into Pajero SWB 2000 model, with face lift or similar.
This unit has been built to fit exactly into the back of a Mitsubishi Pajero (Model 2000) GLS 3.5 SWB vehicle, with the back seats temporarily taken out.
It should fit into a similar shaped Pajero. It consists of:
· A large storage area with flip open doors on the top (to keep clothes, valuables, cameras, laptop or whatever inside)
· A smaller storage area under this large storage area to hide things like passports, money etc.
· A space (to fit a 'fridge etc. into.) (dimensions L= 520mm, W= 450mm H=530m) ('Fridge not available)
· A pull out unit on metal sliders where you can fit groceries, a draw for cutlery and crockery, a space for a gas bottle with more storage, a space to put your two plate gas cooker, which also extends outward so the heat can escape when cooking.
· The whole unit is made of wood and covered in charcoal hardwearing carpeting and is very strong.
· Dimensions of kitchen/storage unit: 1080mm deep, 1030mm wide, 640mm high.
This is an ideal unit to have when travelling on a long camping tour, for instance when travelling through Namibia, as you are self-sufficient, it is easy to use and put away, and can be used anywhere. (for example, in the parking area at race meeting, on a fishing trip, etc.) It can be removed again when not needed. It is quite heavy, but is not difficult to put into place in the vehicle with a little assistance from your friends.
