On offer this beautiful original oil painting by artist Keith Faure, son of listed South African artist John Faure. Signed "KJ FAURÉ" in the lower right corner. Depicting a thatched homestead beneath Mountains with a tree in the foreground. It measures 61x51cm (with frame) and 409x29cm (painting only). Exceptionally well painted, great detail and excellent choice of colours resulting in a truly stunning piece of investment art. It is framed in a quality gilded frame with inner canvas mounting and the proportion between painting and frame is perfect. The painting is in good condition in the accent areas though the backing board is showing through in the left top corner between the leaves of the tree - fortunately well disguised by the tree and not in the centre of the painting so one does not focus on this. Clearly a very accomplished and gifted artist who does not disappoint in the stunning art produced.
