THIS ITEM IS LIKE NEW, IT IS FULL (FILLED WITH DUTCH JENEVER) AND IT IS SEALED.
All of the KLM decanters are not only of houses situated in Amsterdam. This house is known as D’GEKROONDE BYE-KORF, KAMP 10, AMERSFOORT. It features a neck gable and was built in 1689. Today it houses an employment agency.
This house did not always go by this name. In fact the stone tablet was part of Kamp 74a until the 19th century.
Amersfoort is called Keistad (or "Boulder City"). A country gentleman(a "Jonkheer") named Everard Meyster made a bet with some friends that he could talk the people of Amersfoort into dragging a large boulder, a stone that was deposited on Soester Moor in the ice age and weighing 9 tons, to the city. In 1661 the squire won his wager and grandly spent the 3000 guilders on beer and salty pretzels.

However, once I have handed it in at the post office and it goes into transit I am no longer responsible for the item.
