The Kodak Brownie 500 8mm Movie Projector was introduced around 1955 by the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York. It was designed for home use, offering a simple, belt-free operation with a single control for forward projection, stills, reverse, and power rewind. This model was part of Kodaks push to make Standard 8mm film accessible to families, enabling them to watch home movies in their living rooms. It even has the original delivery note from the supplier. It also has the instruction manual enclosed. Projector in the original box.
Plugged in and lights up, with three-point plug. Then removed it to replace the original plug. Not able to test further. IT WAS OVERHEATING WHEN ON AND WILL NEED ATTENTION TO THE FAN.
A GREAT COLLECTABLE FROM THE PAST FOR THE TECH SAVVY BUYER.
