Kodak EasyShare Max Z990 - 12MP - 30x Zoom - Digital Camera

Kodak's EasyShare Max Z990 12MP Digital Camera (Black) is well-named: a 30x optical zoom is pretty much the "Max" for a compact consumer digital camera. But it's not only the lens that makes this camera a contender.

A 12MP CMOS sensor that has improved performance in low-light situations, a large, bright 3" LCD monitor, full 1080 HD video, and the option of shooting in the advanced RAW format are all reasons to take a closer look. And, the 30x zoom includes a 28mm wide-angle (the lens is a 28-840mm (equivalent) Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon with a fast maximum aperture of f/2.8-f/5.6). Combined with optical image stabilization and ISO sensitivity up to 6400 (ISO 12800 at 3.1MP resolution), you'll get sharp, clear pictures even in dim light.
