I am pleased to offer on this auction this EARLY South African Police CAMOUFLAGE SHIRT, owned by a KOEVOET member during the South West Border Conflict.
This is a "MEDIUM" sized shirt, with 2 front button-down flapped pockets.
This is the 2nd pattern, Koevoet Only Camo design.
This item is made of unlined twill.
This shirt has had the inside label removed.
Measurement across the back is 18" / 45 cm, between the top points where the epaulets are joining the shoulder yoke.
Armpit to armpit it measures 24" / 60 cm across the back.
The inside seam of the arm measures 22 1/2" / 55 cm from the armpit down to the cuff hem.
The shirt is 36" / 90 cm long down the back, from the collar top edge to the bottom hem.
This shirt appears to have seen very little active service, and is still in Excellent Condition with no missing buttons, and no fading (see photos).
I am busy thinning my collection down, so I have listed various other Recce, South African and Rhodesia memorabilia auctions.
