Qaurantine Responsibly

Quarantine please!! While every effort has been made to ensure that koi are 100% when sent to you - if you are a responsible koi keeper you will not put your collection at risk - and all new arrivals must be quarantined.

Every new Koi should be quarantined for at least 3-4 weeks.  Even if you have quarantined a Koi for 2 weeks and you add a new one, the quarantine period for the original Koi should be restarted.  Anything that's going to affect them will appear in that amount of time.  A good quarantine tank will be large enough for your new Koi to swim in and will have a good filter system.  Heated water is a must in colder weather as diseases such as KHV that are relatively dormant in winter, might not be picked up through your quarantine process if the temerature is too low.

.When you buy a Koi from me, once shipped the responsibility and risk associated to purchase immediately pass to you the purchaser. By buying Koi  you assume the responsibility of quarantining your Koi properly. I cannot and will not be held responsible for the potential risk involved through irresponsible koi keepers poutting their collections at risk by not quarantining properly. That being said I will give you all the help you need to ensure that you are follow the correct process.
