The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 is an ultra-zoom digital camera that promises a lot in exchange for a relatively small amount of cash. Based around a 3.2 megapixel CCD sensor and an 8x zoom lens that is equivalent to 36-290mm on a 35mm camera, the Z10 has an amazing list of advanced features that make you look twice at its budget price-tag. A very fast start-up time of around 1/2 second, semi-automatic and manual exposure modes, futuristic body design, rapid autofocus and a macro mode that that lets you focus as close as 1cm from your subject !

The camera is about 2-3 years old and in very good condition - I've used it with great success in the Kruger (where the zoom comes in very handy!) as well as on honeymoon etc. Ideal for someone who wants to start taking up photography as a hobby but does not want the complexity of a SLR.
One of my favourites with the Z10 !
