Description:Claerhout came to South Africa as a Missionary, and was for many years a respected figure at the St Francis Missionary outside Thaba Nchu.  As a self-taught Artist he started sketching the people around him, and at  Kromdraai, a Squatters Camp near the Missionary. Later had many Successful expeditions in all the main Centres of South Africa,  and in a few Cities in his Native Belgium.  The Book is written in Afrikaans and English.
