Kruger Pond Imitations - New Booklet on CD

I have written a booklet documenting the all the known varieties of the Kruger Pond Imitation counters.  What you are buying is a CD on which has been written an Adobe PDF file containing the booklet.  The booklet has 38 pages in A4 format.  The great thing about this method of distribution is that it enables the use of large colour images of each of the Imitation Ponds plus even larger images of each side.  Identification becomes a breeze. The downside, from my point of view, is that I can’t impose copyright so you have my consent to make as many copies as you wish.

There are 14 known varieties of the Kruger Pond Imitation counters including the ½ Pond. There are also two instances where the dies have been refurbished. Each is documented with an indication of their scarcity and a price guide. There are 10 different obverses of the Pond and 8 different reverses. These are also documented with a guide to their identification. This is a little known back-water of SA numismatics so I have written a two page introduction which gives some background.  Collecting a complete set of Kruger Pond Imitations has been fun without much drain on the wallet. Most are easy to find on BoB or eBay and even the rarer ones come up from time to time.
