Test the authenticity of your Krugerrand Coins with this device. It is compact and small enough to be carried in a pocket. A genuine Krugerrand emits a ringing sound when struck (generally done by dropping it on a table). However, this tester reduces the risk of damage to the coin, by gently striking it. Typical Tungsten based coins will not give off a ringing sound, and will instead make a dull thud.

This device is an excellent first step in determining whether a coin is in fact genuine. A demonstration video explaining how to operate the tester can be sent to you on request.
