TIP: Because the meat heats more slowly ensure that the temperature is not measured too close to the bone, cartilage, fat or in the body cavity!

Important instructions:
- Clean the probe thoroughly before and after each use with hot water and a mild detergent.
- Not dishwasher or microwave safe!
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids as it is not waterproof.
- Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Do not expose the device to heavy loads, dust, high temperatures, sun or high air humidity.
- Keep the device and plug of the probe dry at all times.
- Never expose the metal probe to a naked flame.
- Do not use the metal probe if the temperature in the oven is over 250°C/482°F.
