KWV 90Yr Founders Reserve Brandy

This brandy celebrated KWV's 90 years of existence. Only 1918 bottles, each numbered for collection purposes were produced.

The Founders Reserve was created in honour of the founders of KWV to celebrate 90 years of world class brandy and the signatures of the founders are displayed on the bottle. The blend comprises of specially chosen fruity 17 year old brandy, a complex 28 year old brandy masterfully complemented with 20 and 25 year old brandies. The link to the 90th year celebration lies in the meticulous selection of the age of the Brandies, the combination of which adds up to 90years.

Each bottle has been numbered and number 1 and number 1918 were given to Mr Nelson Mandela to celebrate his own 90th birthday in 2008.

Limited Edition KWV Founders Reserve Brandy won a gold medal for its superior taste and quality at the 40th anniversary International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) in London in 2009.
